About this course:
This advanced level qualification seeks to inform the student about the dynamic nature of the psyche. The qualification explores depth psychology from an integrative understanding and projective perspective.
The classroom contact and assignment components of this course meet the academic requirement of the qualification. It can be studied as an academic qualification but does not qualify you as a counsellor.For those seeking to enhance their skills and ability within the counselling field, additional criteria will apply. This qualification requires a Level 5 in Counselling. Candidates with a Level 4 in Counselling and 2 years post qualifying supervised practice can also apply. Supervised practice with an appropriate supervisor and personal therapy will also be required.
Modules include – Ethics, Research, Psychodynamic Psychology – the works of Freud, Analytical Psychology – the works of Jung, Object Relations, Projective Techniques, Therapeutic Sand Tray. Lowenfeld. Kalf. Therapeutic Art, Understanding symbols and symbolism, Practice Sessions, Developing an Integrative Framework and other topics.
Minimum 19 years old Photographic proof of ID Evidence of the ability to study at level 6 – degree level.

What will I get on completion of the course?
On completion of all the academic components of this course, participants will receive a Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
Candidates will be required to complete a portfolio based on the taught modules and complete a number of theoretical assignments, plus a case study. (coursework) 120 classroom contact hours 100% attendance is required.
